Ariana Grande lidera la lista con 7 nominaciones, seguida de Shawn Mendes, Lil Nas X y Billie Eilish con 6.
Los MTV European Music Awards aterrizan por segundo año consecutivo en España, en esta ocasión en Sevilla. La ceremonia tendrá lugar el domingo 3 de noviembre y se han anunciado las nominaciones en las que lidera Ariana Grande con siete nominaciones, incluyendo "Mejor Artista", "Mejor Video" por thank you, next y "Mejor Canción" por 7 rings.
Seguidamente de Grande compiten a llevarse la noche de premios Shawn Mendes, Lil Nas X y Billie Eilish con seis candidaturas. J Balvin opta a cinco nominaciones entre las que destaca "Mejor Artista".
Acompañada de Lizzo y Taylor Swift, Rosalía consigue 4 candidaturas en las que destaca la de "Mejor Colaboración" y "Mejor Vídeo" por su éxito Con Altura.
En España, compiten por llevarse el título de "Mejor Artista Local": Amaral, Anni B Sweet, Beret, Carolina Durante y Lola Índigo.
